Lewisham Council has announced its plans to host a Community Live Site on Blackheath for the London 2012 Olympics in July and August 2012.

A weekend of celebration events is taking place in Woolwich, Eltham and Greenwich town centres on Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February to mark the declaration of Royal Borough status for Greenwich.

The South East London Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) is a thriving organisation made up of men and women from small, medium and large businesses throughout the London boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham. We currently have over 600 members.
From retail to construction, local government to education, multi-national businesses to one person businesses, everyone is welcome to join. We are proud to fully reflect the diverse community we are fortunate enough to be home to.
Our networking events are the envy of many other organisations, with attendance usually in excess of 100. Lunches, held in attractive venues throughout the 4 boroughs, occur on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. And our regular breakfast meetings are advertised in the Events Section. Plenty of business is discussed and done between members and from that, their other networks.
