Sustainability Tour
Cory
7 August 2025
SELCC sustainability group members and other practitioners made their way to Cory’s waste to energy facility in Belvedere, where around 25% of London’s waste is turned into heat. We heard about plans for a green innovation hub, including the second facility and carbon capture & storage.

University of Greenwich
13 May 2025
In May, 20 Chamber members were treated to a tour of the University of Greenwich’s Avery Hill campus. We heard about the university’s work and energy efficiency programmes to reach Net Zero by 2033 and were guided around the campus to see the recently installed air source heat pumps as well as their inspiring Edible Garden.
