The Greater London Authority (GLA) is publishing this daily update on behalf of the NHS and London Strategic Coordinating Group.
On Tuesday 7 April, a further 201 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were confirmed to have died in hospitals in the Greater London area.
The total number of reported deaths in London hospitals of patients who tested positive for COVID-19 is now 1,907.

Due to the reporting time, the figures may not include all deaths for that day and the deaths may have occurred prior to this 24-hour period. These figures do not include deaths related to COVID-19 outside of hospitals in the community.
