Fill in Our Shop Safe Survey and Win A New Year Hamper

December 4, 2020

Residents are invited to complete an online survey about visiting local high streets for shopping and entertainment and how their shopping habits have changed as a result of Covid-19.

The survey is part of the London Borough of Bexley’s ‘Shop Safe, Shop Local’ safe return campaign, designed to help kick-start the local economy, get people back to work and customers back to the shops safely in line with government guidance.

Anyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a hamper full of New Year treats worth £200 selected from local shops and services.

Bexley’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Growth, Cllr Louie French, knows that high streets are critical to the economic recovery of our borough:

We continue to support our businesses as they adapt and introduce creative ways of trading in these challenging times.

“Although we need to follow Government guidance on the latest restrictions, our high streets are open for business and we want people to visit their favourite shops and services safely. It is important that we do everything we can to increase public confidence and this survey will help us do that.”

The results of the survey will inform a range of business safety and support measures which will be delivered by the Council and local businesses over the spring.

The survey is available for residents to fill in online.

Local businesses can also have their say

Council representatives will also be in town centres from 9th of December2020 inviting shoppers to participate in the survey in a Covid secure manner. The survey will end on 31st of December 2020.

Bexley’s ‘Shop Safe, Shop Local’ campaign is supported by the European Regional Development Fund through the government’s Reopening High Streets Safely Fund.
