Visit Greenwich Rowing Challenge

August 9, 2019

Visit Greenwich take part in the Ahoy rowing challenge for a second year running on Sunday 22nd September 2019

Team building, fundraising and physical fun!

Following the success of the inaugural Visit Greenwich Rowing Challenge last year, Visit Greenwich is throwing down the gauntlet once again to all partners, friends and family to row on the river Thames from Woolwich to Greenwich.

In aid of The AHOY Centre, the Visit Greenwich Rowing Challenge will consist of around 10 teams to row from Royal Arsenal Pier, through the Thames Barrier, round The O2 to AHOY at Greenwich. Rowing in teams of six, the eight-mile challenge will take around 75 minutes.

Why?
• For the challenge and sense of achievement
• For the team building
• To do something good and fund raise to help The AHOY to provide life-changing rowing and sailing activities for disadvantaged youth and disabled adults.

The Challenge is open to any of our Visit Greenwich partners, staff, friends and networks.

You don’t have to have any rowing experience or be very physically fit – AHOY is organising training and you’ll be working as a team, so all you need is determination and enthusiasm.

Get your colleagues involved and grab some friends to make your oarsome team of six.
