Following the Prime Minister’s Coronovirus update 16 March, I would like to keep you abreast of the changes that we have been making to our operations following the outbreak of COVID-19 and assure you that we are taking every possible step to maintain the health and well-being of our customers and teams.
As you would rightly expect, we have always had strict procedures for health and safety. All of our teams are adhering to rigorous handwashing procedures and are well equipped with sanitising gels. All door handles (including vehicles) are being regularly sanitised, as are common areas such as bathrooms. All customers are being well spaced out within the dining areas. Everyone has been briefed on the World Health Organisation’s guidelines for self-isolation.
As a result, our wholesale operation and wine bars and shops are currently open and well-stocked. If you are working in central London, please join us for a plate of food and a glass of wine.
Likewise, our online shop is open as usual. So if you are already working from home, please visit our website and take advantage of current offers on wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône.
While these are very difficult times, we have been through equally challenging periods over the past 150 years and together will get through this current crisis too. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at all.
