One-of-a-kind event to mark Davy’s 150th Anniversary

Our good friends, Champagne Pol Roger, will be joining us at the Tappit Hen on Tuesday 17th March for an exclusive tasting of the best of their range, to be paired with a specially selected four-course menu.
You will be greeted with an aperitif of the classic Pol Roger NV before we taste through another four stunning Champagnes including the iconic 2009 Sir Winston Churchill Cuvée. Sir Winston thought Pol Roger was the “most delightful address in the world” and enjoyed the Champagne so much, he’d consume up to two bottles a day in his prime.
Managing director of Pol Roger & Master of Wine, James Simpson will lead our evening and tasting, on hand to answer any questions you may have. The four-course supper that follows the tasting has been specially prepared to complement the Champagnes. For those lucky few in attendance, a complementary gift bag with a bottle of our limited-edition Davy’s 150th Anniversary Pol Roger NV Champagne awaits.
