Junior Book Buzz events 2020

January 24, 2020
Younger readers have no reason to feel left out during this year’s Bexley Book Buzz festival that runs from Saturday 15 February to Saturday 29 February.

Highlights for children during February half-term include visits from author and storyteller Joseph Coelho, interactive code-breaking from Bletchley Park’s Tom Briggs, painting workshops with author/illustrator Bridget Marzo, drama workshops from Pretending People Theatre, The Goose who Flew mini theatre show and the Astrodome mobile planetarium.

Some of the children’s events will be reviewed by the talented Burnt Oak School Media Crew, who will also be hosting an event showing people how to use green screen technology allowing them to transport themselves anywhere in the world.

The packed programme for younger readers also includes fairy tales, dance workshops, theatre shows, comedy poetry, craft activities and more.

Some events are sponsored by Sidcup Partners Ltd and Bexleyheath Business Improvement District.

The full programme is now available in Bexley Libraries and can be found at www.bexleybookbuzz.com Tickets for most events are free but will need to be booked in advance from www.bexleylibraries.eventbrite.com
