The South East London Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) exists to promote business between its members and to provide all the help it can to enable members to compete for business beyond our borders. At the same time we are mindful of our responsibilities to the environment, residents of the boroughs and in particular the young people who will become tomorrow’s business people.
As a Chamber we are not interested in seeking Government funds for providing services that are carried out professionally by other bodies. However, we do act as an informed signposting operation, putting our members in touch with the most appropriate and best people to help them and their businesses.
We are pleased with our associations with all 4 boroughs in south east London and work with them to assist local businesses in any way we can. We are represented on the Local Strategic Partnerships of all the councils. However, as with all British Chambers of Commerce, we are completely independent politically and financially, which allows us to fully represent our members’ interests at all times. The Chamber exists to promote business between its members and to provide all the help it can to enable members to compete for business beyond our borders.
