Your borough needs you!

Council tenants and council leaseholders are invited to become mystery shoppers for the Royal Borough's housing service to check the quality of services and to test how efficiently applications and enquiries are handled.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich regularly tests its housing services with the help of 'housing mystery shoppers.' Participants test key areas of housing services and then fill in a short survey. The testing may be online, by phone or by visiting the Council. Shoppers receive a voucher as a ‘thank you’ for their time and effort.

Councillor Averil Lekau, Cabinet Member for Housing, said:

"This is set to be a fun and exciting opportunity for residents to help the Council run the best services possible. The aim is to find out how questions and queries are dealt with by housing staff to see if there are any errors in the way services are presented. If these are identified, we can do something about them. It's all about ensuring we are providing efficient services to tenants and leaseholders."
