The Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Better Together meetings are returning later this month with a focus on regeneration.
Residents will be able to hear about local regeneration projects, have their say on how regeneration money could be spent on local improvements and make suggestions about the things that make a positive difference where they live.
Royal Greenwich’s regular Better Together sessions give participants an opportunity to get involved in making decisions about their local area plus meet key people from the Council including Cabinet members and Council staff.
This time around the meetings will begin with a surgery giving residents the chance to talk about a specific issue affecting them and will be followed by an overview of regeneration projects and a discussion of projects which could benefit from investment.
Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich Councillor Denise Hyland said: “Regeneration projects are under way right across the Royal Borough so it is great that our latest round of Better Together meetings will canvass residents’ views.
"Their input will help us make important decisions so by coming along to one of our drop-in sessions you really can make a difference to the future of our borough.”
The next Better Together meeting will be held at The Eltham Centre on Thursday 22 June from 6.30pm to 8.15pm.
Future meetings will be held in Greenwich later this month and in Plumstead and Charlton in July.
Residents are welcome to attend any meeting but we encourage you to attend the one for the ward where you live.
