April 3, 2020

Businesses and employees in the borough that have been affected by the current pandemic have a new source of useful information, thanks to partners and businesses who been working with the Council.

A new job board has been created for businesses looking to recruit and those who have been made redundant as a result of the measures introduced to limit the spread of the virus.

A regularly updated list of local vacancies is now available via the Learning and Enterprise Centre’s website.

The Bexley for Business website lists a range of important and useful information for business across the borough, including tips on everything from Government support to delivery options.

Bexley’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Growth, Cllr Louis French said: “This is a difficult time for us all and we appreciate how much businesses of all sizes are being affected. We are doing what we can to reassure local businesses that we are here to help.

“For those are looking for work, or for businesses that are looking to take on more staff, we have developed a new vacancy page that should tell you all you need about what’s available in Bexley right now. Please take a look and keep up-to-date using the Bexley for Business website.”
